Facilities and Directions

The USA Track & Field Camp is held at the University of South Alabama’s Jaguar Track Facility: 1209 Mitchell Center, Mobile, AL 36688-0002.

Home of the Jaguars
The newest of USA’s athletic facilities in the Jaguar Track. The Jaguar Track facility provides members of the Jaguar Track & Field and Cross Country teams with a place to train and compete. Jaguar Track served as host to the school's first collegiate Track & Field competition in over a decade as South Alabama held the USA Invite on April 13, 2002. The facility was also used by USA's club football team in the fall of 2001.

Completed in the summer of 2001, the Jaguar Track is one of the finest facilities in the country. Some of its features include:

• Mondo Surface: Same surface as used for the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games as well as the last two World Championships
• Eight 48” Lanes in Alternating Red and Blue Colors
• IAAF Maximum Radius of 138’ for Faster Times
• Field Event “D” Area in North End for High Jump, Javelin and Two Throwing Sectors
• Pole Vault Runways located on West Side
• Long Jump/Triple Jump Pit on East and West Inside of Track
• Additional Throwing Sectors and Javelin Approach in South End
